Paper jammed

Not printing

1.Paper jammed is probably due to the wet paper or thin paper or rough paper

Remove the jammed paper and replaced by standard ones

2.Probably due to dirty or abrasion of the rollers

Clean the rollers or replace new ones

3. Probably due the blockage of in-tray path

Make sure the in-tray path is clear

4. Paper-out Sensor is out of order.

Clean or replace new sensor.

Not functioning

Not functioning after the toner cartridge is installed

The printer can not respond after the toner cartridge is installed, but the printer gets back to normal after another replaces the former one.

Make sure the ink cartridge is installed properly. For some models of toner cartridge, the chip is installed at the right back. Therefore, the ink cartridge can not be recognized by the printer without the chip at the right hand corner.

Excess papers at a time

Due to overlap papers or the abrasion of the paper separator

Remove the papers and then put back

Paper separator is abrasion

Replace a new one

Locally obscure writing in proof sheet.

The writing in some parts on the proof sheet is not clear.

1. The outside of OPC is damp or has dirt.
2. PCR and OPC are coordinated badly.

The writing will become clear after several printing paper.

Transfer roller is impaired.

Replace the transfer roller.

Evident bottom ash

Some thin dirt can be seen in the blank of the printing proof sheet.

The toner has quality problem.

Replace the toner.

The outside of OPC or PCR is aging and shows severe abrasion.

Replace the OPC or PCR.

Cleaning blade has abrasion.

Replace the cleaning blade.

White paper without any printed signs

The materials can not be printed on the paper.

The toner can not bring into contact with the outside of OPC if the laser in the printer is not unbolted. So the toner can not be transferred onto the OPC.

Some lines and dots on the place of each interval or in the bottom of the page

Some lines and dots appear on the place of each interval or in the bottom of the page.

OPC might have been impaired/ OPC which is exposed outside of the printer has been contacted with light source too long. Put the toner Cartridge into the printer. Then print several paper after hours and check if these lines and dots are still on or not. If they still exist on the place of each interval, the OPC might have been broken. The only solution to this is replacing a new one.

Black level line

Black level line appears when printing

MR might have been impaired or does not continuously rotate with axis. Therefore, the gap between MR and OPC is not average; also the toner which is transferred onto the outside of OPC is not proportional. Therefore, Redundant toners form a grey line on the printing page which appears repeatedly in a certain distance.

Dirt on printing paper

Some dirt appears on the printing materials.

1. Paper-inputting path is dirty.

Clean the inside of the printer and replace components if necessary.

2. The toner is leaking badly.

Repair or replace the toner.

3. OPC is broken.

Replace the OPC or the toner.

Black dotson printing paper

Some black dots appear on the printing page.

Black dots on printing paper might have been caused by the scotch on the OPC or the charge roller. Foreign substances or dirt on the typing paper will abrade the OPC. If the OPC has been damaged, the only solution is replacing a new one.

Light writing

The color of the writing or figures is rather light.

1. The toner in powder grade will run out.

Add in some toner over again or recycle.

2. Typing paper is damp.

Replace the qualified typing. paper

3. Ink-saving mode has been set for the printer.

Resume the default setup.

4. Some dirt is on the lens element of the optical master.

Replace the lens element of the optical master.

5. Transfer roller is aging or too dirty.

Replace the transfer roller.

6. The sealed blade in toner has damaged or deformed.

Replace the blade.

7. Large particle of impurities have been blocked between MR and the blade.

Clean up the impurities.

The toner is leaking

Some messy black dots or dollop appear on the proof sheet.

1. The waste bin is full.

Clean up the waste bin.

2. OPC has mechanical damage.

Replace the OPC.

3. The cleaning blade is still not clean after scrap.

Replace the cleaning blade.

Black lines on printing paper

Upright black lines appear along the direction of paper-inputting.

OPC has mechanical damage or dirt.

Replace the OPC. If the dirt on OPC can not removed after several printing pages, please wipe softly with tissue paper.

OPC is exposed by hard light.

Close the cover of the printer, then keep it settled for several hours. If this can not improve the condition, please replace the OPC.

Perpendicular to the direction of paper-inputting, horizontal black lines or black dots periodically appears on the proof sheet.

The upper fuser roller of the printer has mechanical damage.

Replace the upper fuser roller of the printer.

The radiating mirror of the printer has dirt.

Clean the radiating mirror in the printer.

MR is blocked by the impurities interlarding into the toner.

Clean out the impurities.

White lineson printing paper

Upright white lines appear along the direction of paper-inputting.

1. Part of OPC exposed.

Replace OPC or the toner.

2. The contact point of OPC has problem.

Replace the OPC.

3. All accessories in the toner have difficulty in continuous operation

Integrate the toner to make all accessories function normally.

Perpendicular to the direction of paper-inputting, horizontal white path appears on the proof sheet.

1. Typing paper is wet.

Replace the typing paper.

2. The toner is not up to standard.

Replace the qualified toner.

Shed of toner

All or part of printed materials can be easily erased.

The fuser film sleeve is damaged.

Replace the fuser film sleeve.

The temperature of the heating element is insufficient.

Replace or repair the heating element.
